Joene Harp DePlancke (Fry)
My mom, Dorothy Fern Fry Harp was born in Robinson to George Harlan Fry and Mary F. Fry. My mom's brother Walter Fry (Uncle Boob) and Aunt Bessie lived I think at 804 S. Cross where we would stay every summer. (Last time I visited Robinson I think there is a little motel on that corner now.) My mom worked at the Heath plant in the late 1930's. My best childhood memories were taking the train from Washington, D.C. to Vincennes, IN and staying in Robinson and running to wave to the trains when they crossed S. Cross. My Uncle Bob Fry and most of his kids (my cousins) still live around there. Does anyone remember my Mom?
